I know I’m late with this but there was quite a good programme on Harry Ferguson, the first man to fly an aeroplane in Ireland, on BBC 1 Northern Ireland on Monday night. He had the plane made to his own design by workers at his own factory.
It’s available on the BBC iPlayer. Worth a look for the subject’s pioneering spirit alone.

A great watch and a great piece of history told.
What happened to the flying replica, I hope they used another replica for the other scene?
