I’m looking at the possibility of importing some historic Soviet aircraft – Blackjacks, Bears, Badgers, etc. Does anyone have any good contacts in the former Soviet union who would possibly act as an intermediary? My Russian is poor to say the least… And no, this isn’t a wind up.
Has anything like this been attempted before? If so, what were the reasons for rejection?

Now those are some planes I would love to see in the UK.
There seem to be quite a few lying around but I doubt the Russians would be willing to let any of these go to the ‘west’.
