Irritating adverts

Is it me or do any of you find some advert claims an insult to intelligence?
Certain airline claims ” Britains favourite” . for example, oh yeah, judged by who?
I could list many more but in the UK youre well aware of them. Whats your biggest irritant?
I just wish they would shut up and plough the money spent from inane adverts back into the product to make it better.
If its good, it will sell, surely?
