Is anyone else having a crap day at work??

I am – got too many meetings going on and what will get really confusing is the numpties will come into the building and not say what they’re here for!! 😡

And to cap it all off, I have a brainache!

😡 sodding 😡

Great! Somewhere to stay in Brussels!

Sorry to disappoint mate, but I re-negotiated the gig to stay based here in the UK. Although the role does involve frequent trips over to Brussels, I’ll probably not get much chance to take a look around. If I do though, I’ll be sure to look up the places you mentioned.

Hey everyone, today did get a bit better; I got a call this evening telling me that my sister has presented me with my first niece, 6lb 5oz, at 6.42 this evening. Both mum and baby are doing very well. 🙂

Great! Somewhere to stay in Brussels!

Steve – head over to the Avenue louise, take a tram from the Palais de Justice end (near Quick Burger) and hop off close to the golden bust of the pilot. That’s Jean de Selys Longchamps. Take a look at the building with patched rendering. That’s the ex-SDS building he trashed with a Typhoon. And don’t forget to head to the Air Force museum. It’s a good one – and the crab sandwiches and beer there are good too!

So much work and still having some time to post your frustration on this board. You must find some consolation on this forum Daz. I feel a bit sorry for you, but things will go better tomorow! 🙂

By the way, I’m still enjoying my holiday! :p

I’m on my last day in the job, before starting my European role next Monday. So all this week I’ve been training the new guy, catching up from being on holiday last week, attempting to get up to speed on the new role, and coping with the bird becoming the ex / my brother going off to somewhere hot sandy and full of angry natives / my sister going into labour. And von Perthes telling me I’m blimmin famous. Sheesh. What a week. Still. Just been down the battle cruiser for a couple of farewell pints of Old Speckled Hen, and so now I’m raedy to face my final afternoon here. Which is a meeting with the beancounters. Poor sods ain’t gonna know what’s hit ’em… 😀
