Yes, it is 747-200B model, VC-25A. In Air International, november 1999 issue there is “Fit for a King” article, it also includes cutaway drawing of Air Force One.

RE: Is it a 747SP???
the Air Force One is a 747-200B variant. It has however been
retrofitted with brand new GE CF6-80C2 engines ( similiar to those on the 747-400 ).
By the way, in my opinion that aircraft has one of the most stylish liveries around..does anyone agree?

Hi Kabir,
I think it is 747-200 model. Couple of years ago there was an article about Air Force One in the Air international.(Wasn’t there?)
