The question is: Has Suarez bitten off more than he can chew ? Could this saga eventually mean that ‘the biter is bit ?’
This is a subject into which we can all get our teeth. Did anyone see the SpecSaver ad in the Mail ?

He could make good use of his ban by having all his teeth extracted and a pair of handsome dentures made, which would be removed for every match. Each tooth could display a sponsor’s name( if he still has any) for normal non-match day exposure. The bigger the smile the more the smackers roll in. Win win for all!!:D

When he heard that quite possibly he won’t be selected, Suarez was heard to mutter: “Fangs for the memories”.

As someone said on the radio the other day – if he wasn’t in the premier league he would already have been banned from football for life for the first two incidents.
Maybe the opposition should insist on him being muzzled if/when he steps back on the pitch?

Suspend without pay, sure, but I would object to paying a show pony who can’t be shown, looks like his sponsors are having serious looks at their contracts anyway, hope Barcelona have deep pockets.

Personally I’d like to see Liverpool punish him as well, bench him for the rest of the season after his ban is lifted, his sponsors will soon go.

Sorry SF, I respect your enthusiasm but it all just epitomises top flight professional soccer for me. And I have been enjoying the jokes and cartoons very much, as this thread illustrates.:)

Charlie as an LFC fan I am totally pi##ed off that a player who has had more help, consideration and acceptance than most, has now thrown it back in our faces, for me enough is enough, we enjoyed his footballing ability, but we don’t need his cannabilistic tendencies. Sorry not to be humerous, but for many of us it just isn’t funny.
Apart from anything else, just look at the jokes and cartoons doing the rounds at the moment, imagine the stuff at a football ground if he trots onto the field.

The Uruguay attack will certainly lack bite without him.

Perhaps we should all chew on that thought……

I’m fed up to the back teeth with all this chat about Suarez. I’m bound to comment that as a bloke he does leave a deep impression.

Big problem for Uruguay in the rest of the World Cup competition though. They were set up to play in a 4 4 chew formation

SF – did you have to inject a note of seriousness to this thread when most of us couldn’t care whether or not he plays or for whom!;)

I don’t think Suarez will be a Liverpool player this season, the guy has let down everyone connected to the club who stood by him (rightly or wrongly) who applauded is football talents, but he has thrown it all back in their faces.
An old saying, “bad enough being s##t on but borrowing your hanky to rub it in, is too much”.

It’s rumoured that Liverpool’s sponsor, this season, will be Colgate, and their mascot will be Dennis the Menace’s dog Gnasher.

So is his bite worse than his bark, we wonder?
