Thanks everyone for the John Bradshaw photo’s, they’re great.
Anymore angles would be appreciated, also any shots of Spencer Flacks G-FURY?
I have a couple when the white and blue stripe ended at the exhaust stack, but i have one when the stripe run to the nose and she also looks like there were the infamous Frank Sanders smoke canisters under the wingtips. Some of photo’s of this scheme would be much appreciated.

TFC acquired an F-86A from the USA a couple of years ago and put it on the UK register as G-BZNL, but there’s some doubt if it ever made it across before being sold to the Flying Heritage Collection(?).

Hope thsi helps

Philo…just joined up there as well…I saw something just now about The Fighter Collection’s F-86, G-BZNL, has been sold to the USA, not G-SABR…

Interesting information I thought as I didn’t know that they HAD an F-86…

RE: Is the F86 to fly this year?

If you go to www.avi8.com this question was raised and answered by Mark Linney who flies for OFMC and also flew this baby.
You can post the topic and see if he can give further assistance, he’s also the webmaster for this website.

I would guess £1500 is cheap for spares – I know some bits can be into 5 figures?

“The last i heard everything was ready, new engine, hydrolics and the like, all they were trying to get were 3 new batteries which cost about £1500 each.”

You learn something every day. I always thought it was jet-powered, not electric.

Damn sneaky those Americans.
