Hi,
The F22A will (like the F15A/B/C/D) only be able as an air dominance fighter, because there’s no need to provide this aircraft with A/G software. But why don’t make a multirole-fighter out of it with LGB’s, JDAM’s, HARM’s and the AGM 130? Lockheed is offering an F22E Block 10, a strike variant of the F22A. So why spend all your money in the A-program, when the E-version has the same capabilities + A/G. The scenario of a modern war always starts with air dominance to controll the airspace. The F22E could do this as well and afterwarts be used as bomber. Otherwise a “normal F22” would only fly CAP missions and this is a bit stupid for such an expensive fighter.
Also, will this F22E be a two-seater? I’ve never heared something of a two-seat F22 or JSF? Is this not necessairy anymore?
Greetings
