Found this in the late 70s close to the pre war crash site of a Wellesley in Kedington Suffolk but also in an area where villagers dumped rubbish
so trying to find out for sure,
numbers badly corroded but looks like 16?3

Cheers Ian , they are similar Geodetic structure, There are some more numbers on the plate that seem to show up better on the photo than when you look at the real thing.
