This is from Year 2000 as the article is from 2001.
Last year, during the biannual Tactical Leadership Programme exercise, which saw the Mirage 2000-5 of the French Air Force lined up against several NATO aircraft, the superiority of the French armament was clearly demonstrated. The Mirage 2000-5s, armed with Mica, emerged as easy winners in combat scenarios with AMRAAM-equipped F-16s and F-4s, and Sky Flash-equipped Tornado ADVs, thanks to their multi-targeting capabilities
Finally i found internal difference between Mirage 2000-5MK2 and dash-9 models. There are some other differences like Side looking radar (SLAR) and invisible lock on. Which i am not sure -5MK2 has or not?
The Mirage 2000-5 Mk2 will feature a new version of the ICMS known as the Mk3, characterised by greater use of digitally programmable components, rendering the frequency-measuring, signal-detection and jamming functions more flexible and more precise. The Mirage 2000-9 variant ordered by the United Arab Emirates will be equipped with a more complete system still — the IMEWS (Integrated Modular Electronic Warfare System), developed in co-operation with Italy’s Elettronica, which also includes a more powerful low-band jammer
