Is this latest EU court ruling threatening forum sites like keypublishing?

https://www.politico.eu/article/ecj-photographer-permission-ruling/

Basically the court makes re-publishing of images illegal without permission, regardless of attribution.

The copyrights owner must file a complaint. Generally if someone ask any mods to remove their proprietary material, they would comply. So, I fail to see how this court ruling would change anything.

Agree. This ruling should be seen as a “security” i guess, jut to avoid abuse.

Key Publishing HQ is in England. So does it matter after Brexit?

Besides, if it is an actual problem then the webmaster can make the forum fully-private i.e. you must be logged in to view anything, even text.
