If what is reported is correct, where do we go from here? If these foster parents really cared for their children, what the hell! Does it matter their politics, as long as it isn’t the absolute extremeism of that of the man that we can’t get rid of to Jordan.
If the report is true, then I agree, these people who made this reported crass decision should be hung, drawn and quartered without recompense and sent out into the wilderness to contemplate their utter stupidness.
We have enough problems trying to find foster carers without totally alienating them all and their suffering charges. The children must be wondering what they have done wrong. Answer; a big fat now’t! As for the carers the answer is the same.
I despair. Am I the only one, apart from the bandwagon political followers!

£130,000 😮 That’s obscene…..seriously. What the hell is going on here? Austerity for some I guess….poor woman.

I wouldn’t mind betting that UKIP membership has gone thru’ the roof as a consequence of this debacle. If it was the intention of the person central to this matter (annual salary reported at £130,000) to land a political knockout on UKIP, they have scored a pretty spectacular own goal.
May he/she be consigned to the rusty scrapyard of failed social engineers.

Well I’ll try not to mention Women, Up North , Thicko’s & Social workers all in one sentence …….
But some people need to go & blow it out their bums & get a proper edumacation …like me …..
Oh did I forget to mention ” Local Govenment ” ?????

Well apparently in Rotherham it does.
I’ll rephrase my comment. “……..the politics of the foster parents should not matter”. Do you think these idiots know that UKIP is fielding a black candidate in the Croydon North by-election?

If the children are in a caring, loving environment what the hell do the politics of the foster parents matter?
Well apparently in Rotherham it does.
PeeDee.
I’d be interested to hear your partner’s views on this.
I did wonder myself if there was more going on than the media reptiles allowed us to know.
I have to say though, I’m still more inclined to settle behind my initial point though–happy to be proved wrong though.

When I first read the story my guess was the these morons were probably confusing UKIP with the BNP. If the children are in a caring, loving environment what the hell do the politics of the foster parents matter?

There “Could” be another side to this story.
I don’t know or care how racist UKIP is.
Discussion………..what if………….the foster parents were actually a threat?
In this shyte world, kids are groomed and mindfecked by people as part of a long term plan, the ultimate goal being sexual or other abuse.
Keeping immigrant children in a home where (It transpired later) anti-immigration “Could” be supported is a hell of a risk dontcha think?
These rules, which have caused this “Stupid” event only exist because of previous events which have lead to children being harmed.
The third side of this coin?????????? is that now the Authority know about their membership of this psuedo nazi party, they will have to be struck off the Fostering list.
The check process to become a foster carer is a long and thorough process…but clearly it isn’t followed up if you subsequantly join and undesirable club.
To lift a kiddy from a normal home takes a panel of circa 18 people – Social W, Police, Doctors etc. I don’t know how big the panel is for “Taking back” a foster kid. I’d ask the boss but she’s asleep. The boss is a social worker 25 years career, including very long spells in the fostering / adoption teams.

It’s not the first time something like this has happened, and I doubt it will be the last.
I don’t know the ages of the children, but I wonder if anyone asked them how they felt ?
Never changes anything, but you wish they would learn.
As an aside, our MP’s are looking after themselves and after taking time off what will happen! not alot I think!http://web.orange.co.uk/article/news/chief_whip_requests_meeting_with_nadine_dorries

For those of you who do care, you can see her here.

Usual obscurations rather than straight answers–the usual blanket–it’s in the interst of the children blah, blah.
It’s a pity the authorities don’t take such close interest in many of the excesses that occur in care homes.
Quite frankly, I reckon many children would be safer fostered even by that nice Uncle Adolf and Auntie Eva than they are in privately run care homes which takes hundreds (if not tens of thousands) of Pounds a week from the tax-payer etc.

No Bob, my guess would be that it’s probably some hand wringing, do gooding woman who got a poor degree at some ghastly red brick university and who learned Trotskyism in the student union bar and once sold the Socialist Worker, and called everyone brother and sister, and has waited thirty five years to stick one over those nasty fascists of the right–silly cow. I could also have added a phrase about about her not having enough common sense to wipe her own *rse but the sentence was too long already..!
Actually I think she was on TV today defending her position.
Didn’t see it because a) I have a business to run and don’t give a f*ck, and b) don’t watch telly and don’t give a f*ck.
Hope this in some way helps–but I doubt it.
