This is a massive weapon.
“The Tu-95MA was a single aircraft prototype, carrying two Kh-90 ALCMs (AS-19 KOALA), development of which was cancelled in 1992. The Kh-90 was a massive (10.30m long, 1.50m diameter, 2000kg) supersonic (some sources claim hypersonic), ramjet powered ALCM which contained two separate 200kt nuclear warheads which could strike targets 100km apart upon leaving the launch vehicle.”
The Kh-90 (AS-X-19 KOALA) also had a naval version; the SS-N-24 SCORPION (Russian designation unknown). Look at the size of this thing! How could it be fired from torpedo tubes?
