The following is the content of a programme – “TOP SECRET” – aired on the Discovery Civilization channel a few days ago. I have given the posting of this programme a strict and hectic thought, since it might give away Pakistan’s military secrets. But after alot of thinking I decided to post it. I could not bear with the anxiety, curiousness and excitement. While I was watching the programme, my mouth remained open. Immensely awed and bewildered, I searched for the information on the net. To my surprise, I found none. However, the programme does clarify some rumours that have been around, for a long, long time. The decision to believe me is yours.

After the nuclear tests by Pakistan, which took the Western intelligence by complete awe, the latter embarked on a vigorous intelligence gathering project, to update themselves regarding the nuclear capabilities of Pakistan and India. But during this project, whose foremost agencies were the National Security Agency(NSA) and the CIA, some other very critical information was acquired, most of it concerning Pakistan. While the entire is still a mystery, the information gained gave yet another surprise to the intelligence giants of the world.

PAKISTAN’S AREA 51

Located in western Pakistan, in the province of Baluchistan, the area is completely restricted to public. It was discovered when satellites were hunting for information in the region where Pakistan conducted its nuclear tests. It comprises of Chagai-Ras Koh-Kharan (spelling?) area and is amidst a jigsaw puzzle of ever deceiving mountains. Therefore, intelligence gathering became a headache. Furthemore, satellites became useless, since the area inside and underground was protected by strong metals and other equipment, through which the satellite rays could not travel, often reflecting backwords and producing funny pictures. Hence, a more efficient means of intelligence was required which was also very dangerous.

An SR-71 Blackbird did the job (which also accounted for some UFO sightings over Baluchistan). The results were stunning. The pictures show an ingenious airbase located inside and underground. The hangers, carved inside the mountains, protect aircraft that are not included in Pakistan’s inventory. Even though the Americans knew that Pakistan did take some Soviet military equipment from Afghanistan, they did not know it was this serious. The aircraft inside the hangers were MiG-29s, now being retrofiited with canards, about 3 dozen of them. Not only this, the hangers also had Russian AWACS. When the NSA turned their ears to this site, it was confirmed.

No more information has been acquired. However, the CIA believes that this is where Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal, its launching sequences and a remarkable underground bunker – the sub-GHQ – is located. They believe that there is still much more to know, however, acquiring that information is simply impossible, since Pakistan’s military secrets are protected through various levels of intelligence. They still cannot believe that they could not pick-up one of the greatest activities in such a kept-under-the-eye region. Moreover, the programme also says that when Pakistan embarked on its nuclear programme in 1976, it made atleast 3 underground sites in the Chagai-Ras Koh- Kharan (spell?) area.

It also says that it was after this intelligence project that the CIA revised and updated the figures of India’s and Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal. While it was previously believed that Pakistn might only have material for 25-50 bombs, of which 15-30 were actually in existence, and India might have material for 150-200 bombs of which 100-125 were in existence, the new intelligence says that the figures should be reversed for each nation. They even say that India might only have 5 completed bombs.

The above stunned me. It might do the same to you. I am not asking u to believe me, because whatever the truth is the truth. None of us can change it. But if this is true, than I don’t like it being shown on television like this. To me, it appears that America has already starting drumming about Pakistan’s nuclear ability. What do u guys say? Sane comments would be appreciated.
