Reported earlier today, an Islander operated by a private charter company in the Philippines suffered engine malfunction/brake failure (?!) when taxying on Runway 01 at Laoag International Airport. Hit perimeter fence and crashed into “ditch” (monsoon drain?) six metres deep.
Six crew on board, including the Caretaker, no-one hurt, but perhaps someone has egg on face?:rolleyes:
