Israeli Hetz rocket secrets in Egyptian hands

TEL AVIV – Secrets on the Israeli Air Wing and their Hetz anti-missile have landed at the hands of the Egyptian intelligence as a result of failure in the central computer system at the Israeli Army Staff Headquarters, where the most highly sophisticated arms and devices are kept.
The Israeli Military Command, as reported in Maariv daily, resorted to the US computer giant IBM, which provided the system, to have them repaired.
IBM referred the problem to its Middle East head office, located in Cairo, which is run by Egyptian engineers and experts.
The Egyptian specialists performed their task on the Internet in a manner so perfect that the Israelis, as described in Maariv, were astonished. They (the Israelis) realised how advance the Egyptians’ know-how and skills are.
Israel assumed that the Egyptian Intelligence, that keeps a close watch over the Israeli movements, swooped on the highly classified information made available to the IMB engineers in Cairo while handling the technical problem. Meanwhile, senior officers in the Israeli army emphasised that the code words had been immediately changed once the information was leaked to the Egyptians
