Ok, I know that Israel is overflyable in about 15 minutes and get’s very narrow when you take away the West Bank. In case of a major war in that region (Israel), what is the plan for the defence of the Israeli PM and other top government officials (not to mention top military people)? I mean, where can they possiby go to seek refuge to coordinate the war? Jerusalem would certainly be under direct attack and Tel Aviv would also be targeted by aircraft and terrorists. The Negev woud seem better but the proximity to Egypt and it’s inaccesability would have to rule that out. What remains? Northern Israel? Equally as dangerous as the Hizbollah and Syrians would be breathing down Israel’s throat there. Does anyone have any info on command bunkers for the Israeli top brass? For instance, where did Meyer go when the ’73 war was on? I’m quite curious as to what the Israeli’s have come up to deal with this important issue…
