israely ah-64 apache

I saw the news this week and the israely AH-64 apache’s where firering flares from somewhere between the wing and the end of the engine. normaly the apache has a chaff/flare dispencher at the tail boom near the stabilator but this is normaly only used for chaff and not for flares. so if some one could tell me more about the flare dispencher!
