In today’s post the mighty ‘The Battle of France – Then And Now’, the work of years by Peter Cornwall and companion to ‘The Battle of Britain -Then And Now’ published by ‘After the Battle’.
A gem from ebay – A French publication ‘Le Trait D’Union Spitfire Special 1978’, over 100 pages detailing the individual histories of the post WWII French Spitfires.
…and most intriguing of all, a French publication – ‘Les avions britanniques aux coleurs francais’, British aircraft in French colours. Very expensive when first released but a clutch have come to light at Midland Counties and it is currently reduced to about half price.
Who would have thought that the French used some of the following:-
