Whilst enjoying a pleasant afternoon yesterday in the glorious sunshine at Dunkeswell watching AceFlight’s Tiger Moth G-ALNA in Brooklands Flying Club colours conducting air experience flights, another Tiger in camouflage colours, T7794 ‘The Wings of the Glory’, joined the circuit, coming in from Branscombe.
Talking to the Italian crew we gathered it was on one of its first flights after a rebuild and they were taking it out to join two or three others at an airfield near Venice.
Not expecting to see it again it was a surprise when we got back to Shoreham to see it was following us, as G-ASPV was on the arrivals board as due in from Dunkeswell.
Obviously on its delivery flight back to Italy I see that after a period of inactivity it has recently been registered to Paolo Zanardo of Treviso.
Which other Tiger Moths are still flying there?
Wicked Willip :diablo:

For an Italian Tiger – albeit half a century ago – see http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=90731. What became of I-NONO? Delightful registration mark!

At least two were involved in the very large scale ceremony with 15,000 spectators at Nervesa della Battaglia, which, as well as a recreation of the crossing of the river and storming Austro-Hungarian positions, had aircraft dogfighting above, which me and some other British representatives were flown out for
Italian Harvard who used to be on here was involved with the team. Here’s a photo taken on my camera (but not by me) of the dogfighting

Two of the possibles would be I-BANG and I-GATO.
