Trying to find out anything about “Italian Trouble I”, I happened to find the website lucaboschi.nova100.ilsole24ore.com, stating that cartoonist Giovanni Camusso during WWII worked as constuctor for Caproni’s. The statement is garnished with this interesting aircraft snout shown in the picture attached, but there is no type designation or other explanation given. It looks a bit like a Ca.331 Raffica, but it is none.
Is it a Caproni project, maybe a mockup? Do you know anything more?
Thanks again for every answer!

Was identified by contributor *Cripy* at aereimilitari.org as Ca.331B with 20 mm cannons.

You might be right, Pogno. I shall ask on aereimilitari.org.

Sorry I didnt read your original text properly. The picture certainly looks to me like the Ca.331 with some rather temporary alterations made to the canopy.

Hi Pogno,
well, there is a similarity, but I said already it is not the same. Maybe this is just “family lookalike”, it also could be an unknown variant.

It looks like the Caproni Ca.331. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Caproni_Ca.331_C.N.jpg
