item's stolen from South Yorkshire Aircraft Museun

It has come to our attention that two items have been stolen from our hangar at South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum at some point during the last couple of months.

There is a Mosquito undercarriage lever and a piece of fuselage with the serial number of our Nimrod cockpit section XW666.

If anyone sees these items for sale or they are offered to your collection then please get in touch and let us know!

Its also a reminder to keep an eye on items within your collection and the importance of regular cataloguing. It was while updating our hangar inventory that the missing items were spotted.

Hi All,
Was there no security at the time ? I just cannot get over how some people (Allegedly aviation enthusiasts) who visit the Museums that need all the cash they can get just to survive let alone purchase items for display help themselves to items without a care as to what they represent absolutely disgusting..

Bloody scum of the earth, you want to mark everything with smart water when cataloging it.
