dark light

It's a mystery…

Hello guys and gals 🙂

Let’s see how long it takes someone to solve this one 😀 I want to know:

1) What it is (not too difficult ;))
2) What it’s from
3) The serial number of what it’s from
4) Where it currently is
5) Why it’s there

I know the answers…but do you? 😉

No clues, the first person to answer all five questions correctly gets a prize, and there will be a bonus prize for the first person to tell me the name of the drama that was filmed here, and the actor who starred in it :diablo:

Becka

P.S. Apologies for picture quality, I was really struggling with the light available when I took it.

Hi

You are not fooling me

It’s a specially modified Bristol Centaurus used exclusively in the production of vegamite in the Kraft factory in Brisbane – The use of these explains the shortage of such powerplants in the USA because we love our Vegamite the engines bring premium prices here and the props are spun to keep the flies off the vats of delicous black stuff – five blades are better than 4

Prize may be forwarded to me in Gold soverigns thanks

JP

Well I thought more of you would have been up to the challenge than this 😀 Have I foxed even the mighty quiz champion Mike J with this one?

Ok a clue to it’s location…think cream teas and pasties (and I don’t want the county, I want more precise details than that 😉 😀 :p)

OK , I’ll have a guess, a real shot in the dark…

Bristol Mercury?
Gladiator?
one of the ones from Norway?
Gloucestershire?
part of the plane that came to be rebuilt to flying condition?

1) What it is: One of them ugly radial things
2) What it’s from: An airplane (no doubt an ugly one sicne it had that type engine)
3) The serial number of what it’s from: Not a clue.
4) Where it currently is: On my computer screen
5) Why it’s there: Because I logged on and checked this thread

 I have’nt got a clue what the five answers are but I am going to stab in the dark for the last question.

Michael Kitchen. … Foyles War….. :p :p

They have been doing a lot of filming in the East Herts and Essex areas lately.
A barn was blown up in the next village to where I live.
