It's snowing, don't you know…

Just wondering how our aeronautical heritage is coping with the snow? Worried about Comet XK699 amongst others. Are there any reports of damage?

At Newark the usual suspects have been marginally affected by the weather with both the Canberra T19 and Sea Vixen briefly adopting ‘nose-up’ attitudes.

The Canberra T19 is a regular and was briefly featured before under the heading New ‘Aircraft Support Scheme’ launched at Newark Air Museum.

An interesting new addition to those airframes affected is the Rallye, which combined with the weight of snow has drawn a spiral aircraft tie out of the ground.

Fortunately no damage has been sustained on any of the airframes.
