I´ve got a new digital

My girlfriend loves me a lot…..I suppose. Well she has given me a digital camara……I am impressed and using it, all the time. I put you one pic taken at my city airport. ItΒ΄s one of the VIP planes, at SCQ. It bellongs to a rich entepreneur over here. Other one has a Global Express (the owner of Zara)……I want to be rich.

Great pics Keltic, glad to see more forum members posting their own pictures and not always from Airliners.Net.

I’ve never flown or flown in a corporate jet. I’ve spent many hours sitting in them looking at all the fine equipment though. I sure would be a nice way to travel. My friends father flies a gentleman’s personal DC-9-10. The whole thing is for he and his wife. Very nice. Actually I road up front during a planned aborted takeoff in the DC-9 so that’s the closest I’ve been to flying in one.

I do fly the airline version of that Embraer shown above. The view up front is the same no matter how many seats are in the back.

I flew on a Challenger once. It was in a shuttle configuration; just like a small CRJ-200. This was the early 1990’s, and the aircraft was one of 2 owned by the Zambian government. It used to sub for the regular Beech 1900C in Copperbelt flights from time to time. The Government had a 2nd Challenger, but it was in full VIP config and I never got near it!

When I was 14, I did a fortnights’ work experience at BAE Systems, at their Hawk factory in Brough. I did small jobs under supervision, but it was fun. I got to eat my lunch in the cockpit of a US Navy Goshawk, or an Abu Dhabi AF Hawk 200! On the last day, the site manager offered all the work experience kids (4 of us) a short flight in the corporate J31. It was set up for about 8 or 9 seats, which was really comfy. The pilot was a cheeky sort, and flew us over our houses, like a taxi driver!

A friend of mine, she is one of the test and delivery pilots for Bombardier’s Global Express. She gets to fly all over the world. Really cool way to accumulate your flight hours.
