Back in the 50’s or earlier, a complete set of manufacturing drawings (plans)were given to the IWM by the RAE at Farnborough, the IWM say they no longer have them (& don’t remember ever having had them), does anyone know where they are now ?, there are only a handfull of RE8 drawings at the PRO Kew, so it would appear that they were not returned to Farnborough.
ANY CLUES ???. :confused::confused:

The RAE liberary used to be run by Brian Kervel who used to collect historic RAE documents and artifacts. All of this stuff was part of the RAE museum. His retirement coincided with the closure of the RAE and it’s museum. All of it was transfered to the science museum and is held by them. I would expect that anything “historic” like that would have ended up with him and saved by him. His office contained some amazing things.
