Reporting from Hong Kong Media, China’s J-10 will begin mass production in Jan. — 2004, CAC is completing a 2nd prodution line for J-10. A 100% domestic made J-10A will enter prodution in 2004, & 4 squardrons J-10 will be in service by 2005.
A twin engines & two seater J-10 (Navy version) is also under developement.
Due to Russian decision of not to supply China with more advanced ACs other than SU-30MKK, China has decided to accelerate its production on J-10 in order to control Airspace over Taiwan.
