Here’s an interesting article in the latest FLIGHT International issue (29.10.-4.11. page 47) regarding the maybe unveiling of the J-10:
… The most interesting thing for me was one sentence: “But Chengdu remains confident in it’s product, and a leading CAC official has alluded to the possibility of providing the air force with a “new type of combat aircraft” in a higher gross weight class. This is expected to be a derived from the baseline J-10, apparently in response to unspecified air force criticisms of the Su-27SK. A local report says Chengdu is targeting a first flight of this aircraft during the first half of next year. ”
Hmm …. does anyone know more about this version ???
Thanks in advance, Deino 🙂
