J-10 vs F-14 in IRIAF service

for Iran’s heavier fighter needs, which would serve their interests better?
continued use of the F-14s (and perhaps eventual reverse engineering of the entire thing like they’ve done to other aircraft). Some how I doubt they would care if the US got pissed at violation of IP rights, and reproductoin of F-14s and new variants will keep its indigenous industry healthy..

or importing J-10s from China which would be lighter and probably less maintenance free, but probably a step up in capability from its MiG-29s, Mirage F-1s, etc. probably delivered faster too
