J12 ? Is this for real or smoke and mirrors?

I am aware that this may be covered at some point in the past, but please endulge me.

The rumoured Chinese Stealth Fighter project, is this real or just an extension of logic?

I have seen images of very attractive UCAV designs from China but no real information on an actual fighter design.

So can anyone please help me? I would have thought the threat of such an aircraft is informing advanced system development in Japan and India, but what are the concrete facts?
