Ummm, there is a “defensive” statement written as to the reasons why they have done it, but surely by doing this the creators are guilty of the very thing they accuse Ms Goody of?
Free speech and all that, but while I wish her no ill at all, I dislike the reasons why anybody should become famous for the reasons she and others did, and the rate of younger women taking tests has rocketed (my Mrs got a reminder letter and a follow up, and was then told they are booked for a month….) so there is some benefit from the publicity she is generating I guess?

Just been reading about her in the papers here… she’s not well known in this Country…i feel quite sad for the lass and her family…she’s far too young to be in such a terrible situation!!!

I don’t think that her condition should give the yob she is married to the right to avoid jail or the right to have bail conditions lifted – he is a criminal, and crime has a victim and it’s time more people thought about the victim.
What, the victim, you mean the obnoxious member of a teenage gang that constantly taunted, threatened and abused him merely because he was hanging out with Jade Goody, there’s always a real story behind the media hype, how would you have coped with the situation, smiled and offered them a decent line of snort to see them through the day until they were able to pick on the nearest old lady who couldn’t fight back.
He’s now being projected further into the bad list because he smacked a photographer, it must be hard to live with those sort of people, would you like a lens being shoved up your backside everyday, I doubt it.

I agree with Comet & Jonesy.
What makes me fume is all the publicity she’s getting – How many people in the U.K. are battling terminal diseases? How many of those get media coverage? Very, very few.
I am immediately suspicious in that Max Clifford is her agent.
It would not surprise me in the slightest if she made a “miraculous recovery”.
We’ll see.

I am not, and never have been, a fan of Jade Goody or that trashy TV show she made her name on. What she is going through is horrible, and I feel sorry for her two kids, but I don’t think that her condition should give the yob she is married to the right to avoid jail or the right to have bail conditions lifted – he is a criminal, and crime has a victim and it’s time more people thought about the victim.
I am sick of having her rammed down my throat, to be honest. She has had more treatment than many cancer sufferers can hope for – how often do we hear of postcode lotteries and cancer patients being denied drugs on the grounds of it being “too expensive” or “not cost effective”? She has been given the best chance, which is more than the majority of those diagnosed with cancer in the UK can expect.
And why was her wedding venue guarded by police? If you call 999 you are lucky to get them out.

I also hear she’s bathing in Holy Water.During her time in The House, she never once refered to her religious beliefs or even said her goodnight prayers.
Meanwhile,Farah is making her plans….

That site is disgusting. So was she,on national television, being a foul-mouthed,racial bully.A lot of much nicer people are going through the same.Where are the stories of those?
By: steve rowell - 23rd February 2009 at 03:12
That’s disgraceful…i know nothing about the lass but know one deserves that!!!
By: Propstrike - 22nd February 2009 at 18:35
This was the lead item on the ITN news tonight.
It is sad, it probably should be private, but it should not be a national news story. As it is, the story had become the story.
It reflects badly on those people who elect to broadcast such coverage, and indicates what they think about their viewing public.
I wonder if Channel 4 can resist the grief-fest.

How disgusting and crude can the people who made that be?
If they put them in Jade and her families shoes, they would hate to have that made about them!
At the end of the day, despite Jade being famous for being on big brother, she is STILL a HUMAN BEING with feelings and she’s about to lose her children and her children are about to lose her!
I wish people would have some common sense drilled into their dim-witted brains! 😡
Can’t add any more on that.

I have to admit I find myself having some sympathy with the creators of that site.
You would never wish such a tragically early end for anyone – certainly not a mother of small children. I have two girls under 2yrs and the idea of leaving them, not seeing them grow up, is utterly soul destroying.
That said though Goody is the absolute embodiment of everything that is wrong with our society. She is poorly educated, loud-mouthed and bigoted and has been lionised for that. She has courted fame and celebrity without one shred of talent or skill and her, sad, legacy will be one of the perpetuation of the current view that there really is such a thing as a free ride. The generation now coming through have a perfect role model for someone who’s done absolutely nothing with her life yet still has been annointed a media ‘icon’.
I saw, on the BBC’s homage to Jade page yesterday, one contributor who wrote ‘she is our new queen of hearts’ and that, to be honest, had my skin crawling off. Diana’s work with all corners of society, local and international, demanded respect. Goody’s international commentary has set back the view of racism in British culture by a good three decades.
Would I wish her dead – of course not. My wish for her is that she finds a little dignity in the time she has remaining to counterbalance a life lived largely bereft of it.

Like her or hate her, agree with the way she makes her money or not.She is still a mother and a daughter to some folk ,and site like this is despicable ,i think it shouldn’t be promoted on here.
By: Deano - 20th February 2009 at 19:46
Whether you dislike the way she or others became famous or not is not really relevant. Yes it was her choice to go on BB but so what? That’s the way she chose to run her life, it’s nothing to do with anyone else. Good on anyone who can make a buck doing what she did, if you choose to support BB or not makes no difference, there are people who hate it and people who love it.
The website is actually dispicable, I don’t blame her for making all the money she can for her children. The mere thought of my children growing up without ever remembering who I was fills me with dread, I’d do exactly the same if I was in her position.
