Saw a couple of years ago a cutaway drawing of a Jaguar GR-3 where under the fuselage the THIALD and AN/ALQ-101 radarjammer were stored on 1 hardpoint. This looked to me a great idea because in that way the outerwing pylons would be free to carry air-to ground weapons. The Jag lacks weaponcarragepylons certainly compared with more recent fighters. So it can be possible for a jaguar to carry 2 droptanks, 2 454kg LGBs, 2 (overwing) sidewinders for selfdefence and a n ECM-pod + a THIALD laserdesignator resulting in an impressive weaponload. Till now I’ve never seen a picture of such a centrelinestore. Is it possible that it was only a proposal and the RAF lacked interest ?
