Jaguar T2A joins Newark Air Museum

I thought I’d start a separate thread confirming the news that Newark Air Museum has completed the purchase SEPECAT Jaguar T2A XX829 from Everett Aero; and earlier today the airframe was delivered to the museum’s site in eastern Nottinghamshire by a team from Everett Aero.

More details can be found in here and hopefully some photographs will also be posted in the Gallery Section later today! 🙂

It certainly is Peter and attracting a lot of interest from visitors so far this Easter School Holiday week – although volunteers have corrected one person who thought it was a TSR-2!! 😀

I understand that there may have to be some additional panel swapping to get the correct sets and alignments on the fuselage spine.

A couple of ‘progress shots’ taken this morning of a damp Jaguar T2A have been added to the Jaguar Album on the NAM website – a lot of panels have now been refitted!
