A Japan Airlines MD90 (believed to be JA8064) aircraft operated by JAL Express is reported to have contacted a wingtip with the runway today, when landing on runway 32L at Osaka international airport, Itami.
The main runway was closed to traffic while an inspection and sweep for damage and aircraft debris was made, resulting in delays of around 30 minutes to all flights.
The secondary (Bravo) runway can accommodate jets up to a maximum size of 737 and A320, when dry.
