Apologies to non-UK readers but what do you make of Jamie Oliver?

I’ve always thought of him as a bit of a git.

In fact a total, 100%, smug git.

In truth a smug git who is as rich as I’d like to be. 😡 –

But this latest project of his, trying to stop kids being offered nothing but junk food for school dinner is changing my opinion of him.

Many have muttered about getting junk food off the menu, but nobody has ever dived into the project in the way he has done over the last year. Real, hands-on grind. With not a lot in it for him. To me it really does seem selfless.

Am I being conned? His crack-up in the programme last week looked pretty genuine to me.
