Once again a thoroughly entertaining day out, topped by BBMF flypast and display by Maurice Hammond in “Janie.” He should be congratulated for supporting these small events on a regular basis.
We watched this with a small group on the old runway. My 3 year old sat with his hands over his ears… he’ll soon learn.
I’m sure that from one of my poor quality photos, Maurice is saluting at the group of us that were there.

Through a mutual friend, on my last visit to the UK I had the pleasure to meet Mr. Hammond and examine his impressive collection.
He’s a scholar of aviation history who is always willing to share of his time and aircraft. Our hobby needs more people like him.

Debach – Janie & The BBMF
Today at Debach Airfield. Really enjoyable day out and only a fiver! Please excuse some of the quality of the photos, I’m still trying to work out how the new camera works!!
The rest of my Photos are here. Just the aircraft though! It was not the best lighting conditions so I have edited as best I can.
