Absolutely brilliant. Definitely nice to see a different backdrop, just a pity about the modern buildings in the first shot

Yes, that’s the plan, along with the Harvard and Stearman. Probably another Mustang as well, lets hope the weather is kind.

Excellent! Hopefully I’ll be there on the Sunday… Fingers crossed for a repeat of last year’s weather!

Dean.

Stunning… simply stunning! Many thanks for sharing them. Will she be at Breighton again, for the summer fly-in?

There were 2 Spitfires there on Saturday Carolyn Grace who displayed and Peter Teichman who was there on static.

Nice pictures there, was there a Spitfire and hurricane at the LCY airshow as I saw two yesterday?

Did you fly over Goudhurst in Kent by any chance? I was sitting by the roadside (with a few million others) waiting for the Tour de France to come by and saw a couple of warbirds fly over. The nearer was obviously a Harvard (in USAAF markings by the looks of things) but the other was too far away to ID.

Great pics, better than my TdF ones!

Janie goes to London

P51 Mustang – a beauty to behold on the ground and in air though I do prefer the latter !:D Pity Janie can go to Columbus Ohio for the Mustang Legends – that would be pretty cool also

Marvellously anachronistic!

And I thought it was a trip report about you shopping at Harrods!:D

It was for the London City airshow, holding overhead with the harvard whilst we waiting for the other planes around to land. Perfect chance for some fab pics!

Was this an airshow appearance or did Maurice just fancy a spot of early Christmas shopping? Very nice pix.

Nice – I visited the Thames Barrier a few times, to fix problems on their computers, while working for the Environment Agency.

Lovely day.
