Japanese Phantom help needed….

I remember seeing the most beautiful Phantom colour scheme of two shades of blue wrapped around each other on a Japanese F-4 Kai…now I’m not a big Phantom fan but my jaw nearly dropped is was so gorgeous…same scheme as on the F-2. But I have been having trouble finding any on google…now since there are some serious Phantom fans on here I was hoping one of you could find them and post some pic’s and maybe even tell me about them?
Could you tell me if it was just the one aircraft painted in this scheme?
What was the purpose of the scheme? ie. anti-shipping role for the aircraft?
How soon will the F-4 be retired from Japanese service?

If memory serves me correctly they’re based at Misawa (spelling???) if I find one I’ll post it myself…gorgeous aircraft… 😎
