New logo New Vision…….The new scheme for Jat Airways successor to the venerable Jugoslovenski Aerotransport JAT. According to thr latest issue of the Jat Airways in flight mag this new ID coincides with the formation of the new Union of Serbia and Montenegro. I’m not sure if it will suit the DC10! Over to you guys.

Is that the link? Could be, I have heard 3 or 4 stories and the story of AL changing to Hola came up most… therefore I figured that was the best answer. π
I stand corrected!

Don’t be so pessimistic. A lot of the “budget” airlines have colourful schemes. You only have to look at Buzz or Easyjet.

I think that says it all, in a few years time I reckon 99% of airlines will be flying white planes.

Yeah, but the tail is the advert. There’s no harm having a plain fuselage if the tail says something. But….dots?!!?

The designs that they had as other options seemed much better, what ever happened to them?

Out of all the possible c/s that you could vote for on the JAT website… This one clinched it! Pah! What a load of rubbish!

I agree, the old “Red Ellipse” livery was vastly superior. Apparently the little red dot symbolises the line that, quote “I want to fly Jat Airways period” unquote. Still at least they are having a go-I guess.
By: tenthije - 27th July 2003 at 19:52
Will they really be adopting these colours? Air France is more colourfull! Surely this is the name “colour scheme” not worthy? My little brother could have thought of something like this. Just keep the old livery!

Yet another livery update fails miserably. You would of thought that the changes the country is going through both in terms of identity and politically would possibly help materialise a more significant and inspirational livery to reflect a new era. But no, it is literally just total rubbish. Some trivial circles that donβt even come close to reflecting anything to do with the airline and a simple font that is so customary these days. The livery is meaningless and inferior to other Eastern European carriers. What a huge disappointment!
