There is a short article in the current AFM about the JDAM-Extended Range. So, JDAM will get short wings to have a higher range, through gliding. It doesnt need further propulsion.
The picture shows a F-16 with a testing unit, dropped in 2000.
When will the ER be in service? Does the ER also get the DAMASK?
