There is a “Jeep & Cheerful” rally being held at Aeroventure on 9th September co-incideing (unofficially)with a series of Doncaster Heritage Days 6-9 Sept.

THESE DAYS ALLOW FREE ENTRY to participating attractions I believe.

Same dates as Jeeps and Jets at North East Aircraft Museum. Same deal with us (as mentioned on this forum some weeks ago) – heritage days, so free entry (tickets for the 1940’s dance are 4 quid).

Good to see a local council actually assisting! Have a good weekend guys!

Fair do’s Moggy it wasn’t taken seriously-:) but it sounds like it has potential for a good day- I should consider organising a M.V. event there at sometime as I’d still love to get my friend to take his M4A1 Sherman Grizzly to Donny.

O.k. I know its not Aviation related but it did see action on D-Day with the Canadian 52 armoured div. & its powered by a down-rated Wright Whirlwind engine. šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚

There surely is a pun there, and I thought it very funny.

My post was not serious šŸ˜‰

The “Jeep & Cheerful” title is not a pun but the name given to the event by the organisers I’m afraid-nowt to do with Aeroventure- they are just hosting it,but word is Doncaster council are organising these heritage days to encourage visitors by allowing free entry to participating attractions-including Aeroventure. If there is a pun they are not mine I’ sorry it appears that way.
so just come along & enjoy:o šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚
