Jeffery Quills Spitfire

Does anyone know the code letter he carried on his aircraft during the battle of Britain and shot down two BF109s in?

Jeffrey Quills Spitfire is included in part of the Battle of Britain Memorial at Capel le Ferne. This full scale model was unveiled a couple of years ago with members of the Quill family in attendance.
As Oxcart has already stated this spitfire is also coded YT-J, therefore I agree that YT-J is accurate.
Hope this helps

In his autobiography, he says he was allotted Spitfire ‘YT-J’ whilst at 65 squadron and a few pages later mentions shooting down a ‘109. So I am assuming it was that one, but no doubt someone will come along with the definitive facts!
