It rocks. It is a great example of Middle America and its intellectual and cultural superiority. Of course, being that they search for the biggest bunch of muppets available, it does send out the wrong message – but what a message!

Its fake. Or at least most of it is, apart from his quiet little thoughts at the end of the show in which he explains to us why we must behave and all get along in one big happy family.

Is it anything like Trisha on ITV?

I hate to tell my U.K. friends that Jerry Springer is much bigger in the U.K. than over here.
He’s pretty much ignored now since he’s been around so long.
And what’s with the West End show I saw advertised when I was in London….”Jerry Springer, the Musical?”
My only theory is the English have a very good (weird?..warped?) sense of humor and see it as a comedy rather than anything real.

FYI…Now he’s talking about quitting and running for governor of Ohio as a liberal Democrat. He was a Democratic mayor of Cincinnatti, Ohio after his career as a TV newsreader.

Saw it once – didn’t believe it then, and the thought that he is still alive doesn’t convince me now. Actually neither does the thought that Marge had an affair with Kang and Homer is not Maggies real father…
