Well if you look on pprune, Monarch are considering 757 replacements at the moment. They are looking at more A321’s and 767s. As for 757s JET2 are on look out for late 80s built 757s and some of Monarch’s ones fit the bill.

Tommy – where do you get this speculative stuff from? What connection has Monarch ‘possibly’ getting rid of 757s got to do with Jet 2?

Maybe even more 757’s if Monarch could be potentially retiring theirs.
says who?

Is LSAB the MAN based 757?
Yes sure is.
Both G-LSAA & G-LSAC are currently based Leeds while G-LSAB is Manchester based. At the moment its anyone’s guess to as where the next 2 Boeing 757-200 for Jet2.com (G-LSAD & G-LSAE) are heading for.
One suspects Both the MAN & LBA bases will recive one each. With one still heading for TFS this coming winter 06/07 season.
