the Jet Age Museum in Gloucester are just finishing an external refurbishment of the Avro Vulcan cockpit.
Xm569 is used to give visitors the experience of being inside the cockpit of a V bomber. Run entirely by volunteers
the museum is free to enter. A web search will show what we have to offer.
Anyone living in the area is invited to come along and have a look round, if after that you would like to become
one of our team so much the better.

My son and I visited the day before the Vulcan cockpit closed for it’s refurb, what a wonderful exhibit, just couldn’t believe how SMALL the cockpit is! very snug… I would like to take this opportunity to say that the whole Museum is certainly worth a visit, well laid out and with friendly and knowledgeable staff, well worth supporting, I will definitely be returning in the near future!
