Does anyone know of any old Jet Engines or Prop Engines that are for sale dirt cheap??
They don’t have to be pristine as prepared to work on them…
The idea is to trailer mount and take around to shows – anyone?
Perhaps you could PM………..

Marine Salvage had a derwent for £650 a while back – and avons for 2 grand!!!
I’ve got a palouste, it cost me £1200 – they’re quite ‘portable’ and often cheaper than this..

Out of curiosity, what do you regard as ‘dirt cheap’ Neil?
Um in the hundreds or preferbly free!!! 😀
I missed out on a Gypsy Major Engine that was scrapped (ex Chipmunk) a while back that needed to be got rid of for zilch … was a good un as was obviously an ex display item as the casing was cut in areas so you could see the guts.. and a Belfast engine (RR Tyne??)for £300 but there you go…
