Jet Provost info'…?

It’s a long shot, but can anyone please help with photo’s (or any history) of Jet Provost XN549 ?

Originally coded ‘R-Y’ as shown below, but in the late sixties believed to have been ’66’ with CFS, possibly with dayglo panels on the nose ?

any chance of XP558 (possibly in a Macaws scheme) also please, as i’m sure the current owner would like to see them……. 😉

.

Not sure about Macaws scheme (firmly in the ask Albert category) but I will search through my records later this evening.

Thanx CS, already have.

Nearest he came up with was the pic’ below of XN548 at around the same time.

And i’m hoping ‘Stringbag’ will get back to me at some point.

Ask ‘Albert Ross’ – he could probably help with photos.
He might even know it’s history from first to last flight 🙂

Regards

I am assuming that you are aware of its current status at Shawbury?

Yes, but not at Shawbury anymore, now in Devon for some TLC at last…. 😀
