Found a few miles from my hometown in mid wales!, as some farmers own personal gateguard!
Jet Provost XM358, RAF White/red training livery, Large “53” (sqn number?) on nose, No 1 FTS.
Was unable to get picture this time but my brother used to work for the owner so getting pics next time home will be no problem!.
a/c is standing on own undercarriage, Structuraly intact with wing tip tanks, inside of cockpit is still a mystery. Red paint is fading but all original markings still visible.

I often wondered what happened to it – I used to own it; many years ago; but had to sell it as I didnt have a home for it.
It was a lovely airframe, with engine and everything – I greatly regretted having to sell it.

Hi there,
The number ’53’ simply denotes aircraft No.53 when she was part of No.1 FTS at RAF Linton-on-Ouse.
Regards,
Phil
