Jet versus jet

It must go without saying that the chaps at Farnborough and their opposite numbers in the US must have flown dozens of mock combats between the German and Allied jets in the months after the end of the war in Europe.
Rather surprisingly, I’ve never seen either the official reports or even a summary of these, yet they must exisit. Can any of the learned historians out there fill in the blanks as to how a Meteor or Vampire or P-80 stacked up against an Me262 or He162 (or whatever combination of Allied or German jets you care to come up with)?

There’s plenty of material out there on the post war test flying. Do a search on Watson’s Whizzers for the USA stuff, and Eric ‘Winkle’ Brown’s autobiography is a must read for the UK side.
