Saw it at BLK on Sunday after returning from Alicante with Jet2.

I saw it at Palma on Fri 21st Sept. I was on G-CELF ready to fly back to LBA – got a photo of it on the PMI apron with 757 G-LSAD in the background, (in all white scheme with red tail).

Eastern Airways

I see Eastern Airways are re-starting MAN-STN, now Air Berlin are going. They did this route before Air Berlin started on it. FR finished from Blackpool to Stansted as well, so they should do ok.

I thought I’d read somewhere that the MD-80’s weren’t happening now.

Are European Air Charter going to operate the next generation of defunct airliners or what ?

Last rumour I heard was that they were getting x5 MD-80’s from an airline in China, but not 100% sure if they have arrived as yet!

Will the 732 be used on the whole network, or specific routes only? I would love to see it at AMS some day, but with the noise regulations I think that is unlikely?

It’s just on lease and isn’t owned by Jet2, which is why it hasn’t been painted in the full scheme, although I must admit, it would more than likely look very nice!

Apparently she’s to be scrapped when she finished her time with Jet2. Poor old plane!

Yeah I know its on lse from European as I said 😉 I think European are scraping some off there 737 as I am sure i saw some where next year 737-200 are being banned from are skies cant member where I saw it though.
